My list of the top places to eat at Epcot. I’ll break it down by top three places and by meal…one of them will jump out at you for sure!
BREAKFAST
There really are not many places to catch breakfast at Epcot. This makes sense, in a way. You’re best bet is to get food at your hotel or resort in the morning as it doesn’t waste your valuable time at the park. This makes breakfast one of your major considerations when choosing a hotel/resort! But, it’s still possible to get breakfast. The two places I know for sure are in Norway, which offers a Princess Storybook Dining Character Breakfast and the Electric Umbrella at Innoventions. Any Character event you’ll want to make reservations, and if you’re just looking for a quick meal then head over to the Electric Umbrella.
LUNCH
Most of the eateries in the park will cover lunch. You’ve got two choices, really. Get something over the counter, or find a full service restaurant. In my opinion, the best over the counter locations are Norway’s Kringla Bakeri og Kafe, Yorkshire County Fish & Chips, and the Tangierine Cafe. The Kringla Bakeri has a nice array of sandwiches, and is in a location you’ll probably find yourself in at noontime. Yorkshire Fish & Chips is a Harry Ramsden Chain, and has pretty good fish and chips. If you’re headed around the World Showcase in the Canada and United Kingdom direction, it’s well placed also. Tangierine Cafe is in Morocco, and has a very unique menu and some of the best outdoor ambiance of the park. It’s worth the trip even if you’re not close to it at lunchtime.
For Full Service, the spots to go are the Bistro de Paris in France and the Teppan Edo in Japan. Both are par for full service as far as price, so expect to pay around 12-20 bucks a plate. Bistro de Paris is pretty fancy, and features mostly seafood with a couple of select “turf” options. Teppan Edo is a teppanyaki style Japanese steakhouse, and and a personal favorite of mine. It also works well for Dinner. If you’re looking for something different, try the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Norway. It has buffet style norwegian cuisine, which is certainly an adventure if you’ve not tried it!
DINNER
My top picks for Dinner would be the Restaurant Marrakesh in Morocco, and the Coral Reef restaurant in the Seas. Both have great food, but what really sets these two restaurants apart is the ambiance. Marrakesh features beautiful tile work and belly dancers, and the Coral Reef has a view into the Sea’s massive aquarium. Be sure to make reservations for these restaurants…they fill up pretty quick!
